I informed the first XV a few weeks ago, so I'll say it here.

I've taken on a new job that's seen me relocate and move out of London, so, unfortunately, I won't be returning to Ilford RFC for the new season.

It's been an amazing 7 years playing rugby, drinking pints and winning silverware with you boys, learning about your lives, your likes and dreams.

It's been even better watching so many of you achieve those dreams as well.

I'll try my best to come down to Ilford next time I'm around London for a Saturday, but for now, it's au revoir.

It's been emotional.
